Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

  1. The article has not been published before.
  2. Manuscript: In single column Microsoft word format. The template is available for download. (Click here for article template)
  3. Copyright transfer form: You need to sign this form and send it to us along with your article (Click here for copyright transfer form).
  4. Permissions*: Letter you can use to seek permission to reproduce copyrighted material. If you have used copyrighted material in your paper, you must obtain permission to use it from the owner of the copyright and/or authors. You need to send full details (e.g., copies of e-mails) to your editor who will subsequently submit them to AIP Conference Proceedings. (Click here for permissions form)
  5. Do not add page numbers or headers/footers.
  6. Do not alter the margins of our templates.
  7. Paper size is 8.5 x 11.
  8. The paper must include the author name and full affiliation address including country.
  9. Use clear, legible graphics and diagrams contained within the margins.
  10. Do not use copyrighted material without permission and proper crediting.
  11. All pages are to be in portrait.
  12. References are prepared using our sample reference guidelines. References can only be linked if they are complete.

  5. Sample references.pdf : A collection of examples showing how to prepare and format your references.

In essence, what do you need to do?

The proceedings publication process, including where to send your paper, is summarized below in the section.

  • The main requirement is that ICBB2022 Conference Proceedings requires a ready-to-publish PDF file of your article (with fonts embedded), prepared using our Word templates and following the general guidelines discussed in the document.

 In addition to your article, you should send the following items to the editor:

  •  A signed copyright transfer form: The file copyright_transfer.pdf should be printed, signed and then scanned and saved as a PDF.
  • Copyright permission letters/e-mails: The file folder “permissions” contains essential advice in the file permission_guidelines.pdf. If you have used copyrighted material in your paper you must obtain permission to use it from the owner of the copyright and/or authors. You need to send full details (e.g., copies of e-mails) to your editor who will subsequently submit them to ICBB2022.
